HB 1175 Defeated!
Hello Everyone,
Good News! HB 1175 was defeated today by a vote of 5 to 2. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who called, faxed, and e-mailed your senators.
If you would like to call your senators who voted no and thank them that would be great. Here's the list of who voted:
Senator Betty Boyd, Chair - NO;
Senator Lois Tochtrop, Vice Chair - NO;
Senator Shawn Mitchell - NO;
Senator David Schultheis - NO;
Senator Kevin Lundberg - NO;
(Senator John Morse and Senator Linda Newell voted YES; Senator Morgan Carroll was absent)
We are going to go forward with a Health Freedom bill again next year and this time I hope we get it passed.
